The Old St. Anne’s Church which was built in 1945. Later the Nashik Diocese was detached from Poona Diocese in 1987 and the same Church was named St. Anne’s Cathedral. The Church as you see is very small and not very strong. The government’s Town Planning of Nashik took the Church land to widen the public road as so the entrance of the Church was touching the road which disturbed the Mass and Prayer services. Moreover the Church had been renovated several times but as you see the walls, roofs and the full structure is very weak.  No use of further repairs. Also the community in Nashik is increasing. Now with much difficulty we have got the official permission from the Government to construct the Cathedral. Kindly pray for the proposed work.

Your precious prayers and support is requested for the long awaited construction of the Cathedral.
